Spanishly is Adriana's brainchild. Adriana is a native Spanish speaker with a knack for languages and working with kids. Born in Venezuela, lived in Israel and Australia, and speaks English and Hebrew as second languages.

Adriana loves teaching children and always finds ways to engage and bring out the best in them, even if it means singing a duet in Spanish together!

She has over 15 years of experience teaching children and adults, both independently and for Berlitz Tel Aviv, Berlitz Brisbane, and Linguakidz Brisbane.

Adriana has a bachelor's degree in Tourism, an MBA in Accounting, and a specialisation certificate "Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language to Children and Teens" with ELE International, endorsed by Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes.

How Does the Program Work?

Spanishly offers two programs: Program A for primary shcool aged children and Program B for secondary school students.

Program A lessons incorporate songs, stories and interactive games that weave in new concepts and vocabulary. Classes typically start with discussions about feelings, weather, and the day of the week.

Program B, on the other hand, is specially designed to cater to the specific needs of teenagers. It is ideal for those enrolled in immersion Spanish programs who require more speaking practice or assistance with complex grammar concepts like the subjunctive. Additionally, Program B is well-suited for teens who wish to learn their parent's native language.

In all cases, Spanishly works hard at understanding what makes your child tick and tailors class tempo, activities, and topics to match their interests.

Fees

Program A: 10 weeks, 1 x 30-minute private lesson per week, starting on the 1st week of the QLD school term. Best for primary school-aged children.

Program B (5-class pack): 5 x 60-minute private lesson at a frequency tailored for your child, starting 1st week of the QLD school term. Best for secondary school-aged children.

How Do I Sign Up?

Please fill in the contact form below or send me an email letting me know your name, preferred contact information, and any specific requirements or preferences you may have.

I will promptly respond within 1 business day to arrange a 15-minute consultation during which we will discuss your language learning needs and goals, as well as address any questions you may have. This initial consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and tailor the lessons according to your requirements.

After the consultation, we will work together to establish a suitable class schedule that fits your availability and learning pace.

Enrolment Policy

• All tuition fees are billed in advance at the beginning of each term.

• Mid-term enrolments are possible and billed for the remaining weeks of the term.

• All invoices are sent via email and can be paid via direct deposit or PayPal (details below).

• Payments cannot be refunded once a student has commenced their enrolment.

Upon completion of a term, a student will be re-enrolled at the same lesson time for the subsequent term unless notified otherwise.

Cancellation Policy

If a student’s absence is recorded by 3:00 pm on the day before the scheduled lesson, a make-up lesson will be provided.

If the absence is recorded before 9:00 am on the day of the lesson, a make-up lesson cannot be guaranteed; however, you will be placed on a waitlist and I will offer you a time should one become available.

Notification of an absence after 9:00 am on the day of the scheduled lesson will most likely mean the lesson will be forfeited although your earliest notification would be appreciated.

Can I start mid-term or at another time?

Please contact me to discuss availability. If possible, I would be happy to accommodate your needs :-).

Do you teach to adults as well?

Adults are also welcome, feel free to enquire so that we can work something out.

Can 2 siblings or friends of similar ages take the classes together?

Please contact me to discuss this. In some cases, it may be possible to arrange group classes.
